GERMAN THREW BANANA!

A German tourist admitted throwing the banana that caused a racism row following Sunday's friendly international between Scotland and Brazil.

During the match a banana was thrown onto the pitch near young Brazilian striker Neymar as he celebrated scoring a penalty. This incident sparked a racism row and NEYMAR claimed after the match that he suffered racial abuse during the game from the Tartan Army.

However, a German teenage tourist later confirmed that HE threw the banana which led the Brazilian striker Neymar to allege ha had suffered racist taunts by Scotland fans. (The tartan army)

Police confirmed that the fan will NOT be charged because the incident was not viewed as racist.

Strange though that it was a racism incident when Scottish supporters were accused and when found "not guilty" it was all of a sudden NOT racist.
It is understood that The Association of Tartan Army Clubs are sending an official letter of complaint to the Brazilian Football Federation and the match organisers.

The Scottish Football Association (SFA) described the behaviour of the Scotland supporters at Arsenal's Emirates Stadium as "first class".

Brazil won the match 2-0 and Neymar scored both goals.
