Fee Agreed for BARRY FERGUSON
HEID THE BA' update
Blackpool have agreed a fee with Birmingham for Barry Ferguson.
HTB had said previously that Ferguson may return to Ibrox.
Rangers had contacted Birmingham to make enquiries re Barry Ferguson, however the wages asked for were too much for the Glasgow club to compete with.
Blackpool shouldn't have such issues after the sale of Charlie Adam to Liverpool.
Will FERGUSON be a Blackpool player for 2011/2012.

TOON FANS INVADE PITCH
DARLINGTON v NEWCASTLE - crowd trouble
Newcastle's friendly match at Darlington was marred by crowd trouble
Joey Barton put Newcastle into the lead after only two minutes. Sammy Ameobi scored a cracker early in the second half to make it 2-0.
Toon fans invaded the pitch, Newcastle manager Alan Pardew and assistant John Carver walked over to the supporters to try and calm them down.
A statement on the club's website said.
"On behalf of everyone at Newcastle United FC., we wholly condemn the behaviour pf a number of our supporters who invaded the pitch during the second half of the club's friendly against Darlington this evening. The club will be seeking to obtain footage of the disorder from Darlington FC and the police and will be taking the strongest possible action against those individuals responsible for the shameful behaviour. This behaviour is not typical of the vast majority of our fans, however this incident gives a poor impression of Newcastle United and it's loyal supporters".

RUMOURS & GOSSIP
HTB Football blog understands that Barry Ferguson could be heading back to Glasgow Rangers.
Rangers are already in talks with Bursaspor to get Kenny Miller back to Ibrox. Rumour has it that Ferguson could be the next ex-Rangers player to return to the club.
Miller was sold when the club was desperate for cash but with new owner Craig Whyte taking charge, the club are in better shape financially to re-sign Miller.

The Goalkeepers' of Today!
Has the quality of the modern day Goalkeeper deteriorated.?
I remember watching football matches back in the late '60s early '70s and I have to say that the quality back then was far superior than it is of today
Back then, the Goalkeepers' coaches were on the ball.
